THOMPSON,
William Alexander Hain (Bill):
Of Wyndham, Peacefully, on Monday, March 20, 2023, aged 79 years. Dearly loved Dad of *Peter, Dave and Ginny (Te Anau), Robert and Debz (Nelson), loved Grandad of Jared (Brisbane), Alex, Jack, and Summer (all of Invercargill). Loved brother and brother-in-law of *Margaret and *Colin Walker, Bruce, Victor and Linda (all of Invercargill), loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Bill's life will be held at Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore on Friday, March 24, at 2.00pm, cuppa to follow. Livestream available www.southernfuneralhome.co.nz Donations can be left for the Wyndham and Districts Rest Home at the service. Messages to 27G Ramparts Road, RD1, Te Anau 9679.

My earliest thoughts of Uncle Bill go back to when we were all just little guys all hanging out at Granna's playing on the front lawn (wrestling mainly cause thats what boys do) and Uncle Bill right in the middle of it encouraging us. Good times...

Dear Bill's Family,
Deepest sympathy to you all at this sad time.
I always kept up to date with Bill at our " Living Alone" meal held at the Three Rivers Hotel Wyndham once a month. He will be missed. Interesting to note the day and month=== 20th month was Ray's death 20/3/2006 it was also a Monday.
