William Edward (Bill):
Bill passed away after a short illness at Ascot Care Home on Thursday, March 19, 2020, in is 91st year. Cherished husband and best friend of Elaine for 65 years. Much loved and loving father and father-in-law of Wayne and Rose, Bronwyn and Ross. Loved and loving Grandad and Great-Grandad. In accordance with Bill's wishes, a private family service has been held. Messages to 28 Rodney Street, Invercargill 9812.

My sincere sympathy to Elaine and family. Was sorry to hear of Bill passing. I remember him at Skeggs Motors in Bluff when i was a youngster who also knew John Scobie. I am thinking of you all at this sad time. Anna (nee Nilsen) Robieson Wellington

i am quite saddened to hear of Bills passing. He was a wonderful person and a terrific employer when I worked for him in the 60's. Bluff Motors was a place where I really enjoyed working. I had a lot of respect for Bill and was always amazed at his ability to put his mechanical knowledge to anything. A man of many talents.
