William POOLE Obituary

Peacefully on October 14, 2024, at Southland Hospital, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Laurita. Much loved brother of Norma Horscroft (Canberra). Loved uncle of Chris and Deborah Horscroft, Alison and Ron Robertson, and Virginia Horscroft and Michael Izzo. Great-uncle of Timothy, Leon, Alexander, Ella, Liam and Claire (all of Australia), and brother-in-law of Elspeth Duurloo (Winton). The family wish to acknowledge and thank the staff at BUPA Ascot for their kindness, care and friendship over the past 3 years. Also the excellent care provided by the Medical Ward at Southland Hospital. A service to remember Bill will be held in the Elles Road Bible Chapel, Cnr Elles Road and Earn St, South Invercargill, on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 1.30pm, followed by an interment at the Eastern Cemetery.
