William Robert "Robbie" McDONALD

William McDONALD Obituary

Peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at Wyndham Resthome; almost 95 years old. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Joyce for 72 years, much loved father and father-in-law of Stuart and Robyn, Murray and Janet, Kathryn and Geoff, Rodney and Clinton, Jill and Chris, Christine and Philip, cherished Grandad and Mac of Matthew, Hamish, Bevan, Jessica, Hazel, Emma, Sarah, and Alice, great-grandad of Aubrey, Sam, and Megan. The family would like to thank the staff at Wyndham Resthome for their wonderful care. A Memorial service to celebrate Robbie's life will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 11.00am at the Gore RSA Function Lounge, Bowler Ave, Gore. As a little girl I have very fond memories of Robbie (neighbour) running a team of horses past our place at a great pace and thinking how majestic they all looked and a single nod of the finger as an acknowledgement Robbie seen me
