William HUNT Obituary

Slipped away peacefully on Sunday morning, with family at Lake Hayes, December 21, 2025; aged 84 years. David has joined his life-long love Linley, who passed earlier this year. He was a fantastic father to William and Simon and grandfather to Harvey, Janie and George. A hard-working Southland farmer with an adventurous and fun spirit, "W.D." moved to Wakatipu in 1986, then to Cromwell in 2016. Always a humble gentleman, he will be missed. A Memorial Service to be held at a later date. Messages to 8B Maple Court, Arthurs Point, Queenstown 9374.

Both your parents were so kind to me as we all grew up together - I have a huge movie reel of wonderful, happy memories from Dacre days to Queenstown family fun.
