William Duncan (Bill):
Passed away peacefully after a valiant struggle on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Golden View Care Home, Cromwell; aged 87 years. Much loved husband of Pam (deceased), and Diane (nee Fraser), much loved father of Leigh (deceased), Terry and Gary, father-in-law of Wendy and Kim, Grandad of Gemma and Tammy, Joshua, Nicholas and great-granddad of Nora. Oamaru wool buyer/exporter and dedicated to the NZ wool industry, long time motorsport official and stalwart. Founder and passionate operator of Queenstown Heritage Tours to Skippers Canyon. We will miss your gentle nature, wisdom and entertaining storytelling forever. Finally reunited with your beloved Pam. Rest in peace Dad, you will always be in our hearts. Our grateful thanks to the incredible staff at Golden View for their wonderful care, empathy and genuine affection shown to Bill, epitomised by the final gathering of all staff for a guard of honour as Bill left for his final journey. A service for Bill will be held at the Lake Hayes Pavilion, Queenstown, at 1.00pm, on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Masks to be worn please.
