William Charles "Esquire" DIXON

William DIXON Obituary

The whānau of William Charles (Esquire) Dixon extends our sincerest thanks to everyone who has supported us during the loss of our beloved Grandad/Koko/Dad/Uncle and Brother. To the Bluff whānau, Man Cave crew, and wider community - thank you for the love, care, and support you showed throughout his life and to us, his whānau during this time. Special thanks to Hospice Southland, especially Mary, for your compassion, and to the many district nurses and doctors who cared for Grandad/Koko/Dad with such kindness and respect during his final days. To the many workmates from Tiwai, the pet food factory, freezing works, and fishing and oyster boats for the camaraderie that brought him so much joy. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Bluff Rugby Club, the Bluff RSA, the Golden Age Tavern, and the many individuals who supported us, including Craig, Lynley, Kara, Mana, Karen Calder, Karen Davis Goff, Anita, Collin Johnstone, Ricky Gillan, Seth, Adalein, Shane Pearsey, Brad, Ramoni, Linda, Lee, Curly, Father Hamish, the Kini/ Tokana whānau and the work and sporting colleagues of family members. To everyone who offered aroha through messages, koha, kai, errands, or simply being there - you have touched our hearts more than words can say. Please accept this as a personal acknowledgment from our whānau.

As Grandad would say: "Cheeeck!"
