William Desmond (Bill):
Peacefully at Calvary Hospital on Wednesday 12 August, 2015. Dearly loved husband and friend of Evelyn. Loving father and father-in-law of Ann and Lee Rowley (Perth, Australia) and David and Karel Burke (Alexandra). Loved grandad of Brooke, Dene and the late Andrea McAllan (Australia) and Adrienne and Ray Henderson and Lauren and Matt Maley. Great-grandad of Samantha, Ted, Ella, Elisabeth and Michael. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Mary's Basilica, Tyne Street, Invercargill, on Saturday 15 August at 10.30am, followed by interment at the Eastern Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at the Basilica on Friday at 7pm. Messages to 31 Hamilton St, Invercargill.

Arohanui to Evelyn, Ann, David and families. I've never known a time when you, Evelyn and Bill were not part of our family. You both were such good friends to my parents, Dave(dec) and Nell McMurdo. may you rest in peace Bill xxx
