William BONIFACE Obituary

18.8.1942 - 29.9.2025
William died peacefully, after a courageous and lengthy journey with cancer, in the care of Hospice Southland, surrounded by those who loved him. William was fiercely independent and determined, a man with real grit. White-baiting partner and special friend of Glennys* Hansen (Glennie). Esteemed and valued family member of Davina and Michael Blakie, Deborah and Steve* Blomfield, Bronwyn Hansen, Angela Hansen and Barrie Hosgood, and Matthew Hansen. A special person who was dependable and supportive, who will be deeply missed. Always remembered by Beth, Jeremy and Rowan - for his unwavering kindness, support and guidance. As per Williams wishes, a private cremation has been held, details of a memorial service to be advised. Grateful thanks for the care and support William received during his illness from Hospice Southland.

We carry you in our hearts and memories forever.
Those we love don't go away
They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard but always near,
Still loved, still missed and always dear.

Messages to 32 King St, Invercargill 9810. (*Denotes deceased.)
