Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. In his 98th year. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Judy. "You were the most gentle and caring husband who gave me everything", and the late Betty Doyle. Much loved and respected step-father of Michael Tipuna (Wairoa), Moiroa and Ian Dickinson, Kip Tipuna (Invercargill), Ivan and Maraea (Nightcaps), Norman and Donna (Christchurch), Maria and Tony Shore (Tuatapere), Nathan and Victoria (Christchurch), and all Bill's many mokopuna.

Loved father of Pat and Frank* Childs, David* and Lorrie Doyle (Perth), John and Judy* Doyle, Elizabeth and Darren* Pine (Brisbane), and his many grandchildren.
