Wilhelmus KNOOPS Obituary

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. In his 98th year. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Judy. "You were the most gentle and caring husband who gave me everything", and the late Betty Doyle. Much loved and respected step-father of Michael Tipuna (Wairoa), Moiroa and Ian Dickinson, Kip Tipuna (Invercargill), Ivan and Maraea (Nightcaps), Norman and Donna (Christchurch), Maria and Tony Shore (Tuatapere), Nathan and Victoria (Christchurch), and all Bill's many mokopuna.

Loved father of Pat and Frank* Childs, David* and Lorrie Doyle (Perth), John and Judy* Doyle, Elizabeth and Darren* Pine (Brisbane), and his many grandchildren. A special thank you to Calvary Hospital staff and Southland Hospital for their loving care of Bill. As per Bill's wishes a private service and cremation has been held. I am very sorry to read that Bill has died.I remember him and Betty way back in the 60's when my late husband Alan and David worked together in the display dept at H&J Smith's. Bill was a lovely man.
Lorraine ,I have often thought of you all over the years and wondered how you are. I am sorry that David has passed.
