Wendy MITCHELL Obituary

I fist met Wendy at a country music concert in Christchurch about 20 years ago and we just clicked. I have been privileged to have her as a friend all this time and will miss her quirky sense of humor, huge loving heart, and how she always had time for everyone. She would say "Hannah. About time you called.' Her love of her music, friends and family defined her.
Wendy RIP my lovely friend. To Owen Shelley and family, my heartfelt condolences in your loss. But you will always have beautiful memories of Wendy. Blessings

Wendy was a beautiful soul ,, when you met her .. she took you in as family ..with the biggest heart I have ever met..she was hard working and a go getter .. if it was impossible ...she accomplished it ,,sending prayers and huggs to her family and friends .. God is lucky he took an amazing angel home ... Til we meet again Wendy

My deepest condolences to the family. I knew Wendy quite a few yrs working with her on OMCRN Internet Radio. She was a loving kind hearted person who could brighten your day in a matter of seconds. She was my best friend and I will miss her terribly.

So sad to hear of Wendy's passing, she was a lovely lady. We had known each other as kids in Waitepeka/Balclutha, and then we caught up again on Paltalk and again during the Quakes in ChCh NZ. .My condolences to her family, my thoughts and prayers go out to u all. God Bless you all.

I never met Wendy in person but she shared her adventure's and so loved her family that you could almost feel her smile when she talked about all of you. Wendy is one "friend" I truly would have loved to meet. Thoughts and prayer's to you all.

Met Wendy on internet radio years ago although it seems like yesterday. Enjoyed her company and had many fun times together. So sorry to hear she has passed. Condolences to her family.

Wendy was a beautiful friend who I met on pal talk , then I eventually met her in person when I went south to Gore . I have Wendy to thank for helping me to get my music out to the world . She had a heart of gold and I loved her very much . I was delighted to compose and write music for one of her songs and I knew she loved it . An angel who I will miss dearly .
