Wayne WITHINGTON Obituary

Of Millers Flat. Peacefully at Ranui Home on November 4, 2024, with family at his side. Aged 74 years. Loved husband of Barbara, great father and father-in-law of Lindsay andRayelene and Martin, grandfather of Steven and Jess, Aimee and Michael, and new great-grandad of Findlay Allan. Brother and brother-in-law of Darryl, Debra and John Murphy, Nicola and Robin Eustace, and the late Craig, Roley and Margaret Menzies. A loved uncle and mentor to many.

'The reserve fuel tanks reached empty'

A service for Wayne will be held in the Millers Flat Hall, 1665 Teviot Road, Millers Flat, at 1.30pm on Friday, November 8. Garden flowers only please. So sad to hear of Wayne's passing. I first met Wayne in Otautau when he took his mates from the pub home to see his new baby (Lindsay). I also sort of worked with Barbara at the Southland Times (different departments). Again so sad to read of the loss to all the family. Ray Ruffell
