Wayne TANGNEY Obituary

Passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Aged 58 years. Dearly loved son of Alan and Pauline. Much loved Dad of Brayden and Courtney, Laura and Sam Edwards, George and Hannah. Grandad of Corey, Louis, Jordan, Oceana, Cherish, and Cruz. Loved brother and uncle of Barry and Maree, Mia and Mason Grant, Flip Mathew, James, and Jessie-Kate, and a good friend of Diane and a great mate to many.

A service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held on Monday, January 13, at 2.00pm, in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, followed by a private cremation. It was with sadness that I read the passing of Nudge. I was fortunate to have spent a lot of my younger years kicking around with Nudge and shared so many laughs and good times. RIP Nudge, you were truly one of life's good guys. Condolences to family.

Nudge's ability with a hammer & nails, was never questioned. He had a real enthusiasm for life which rubbed on other people and will be sadly missed. However his spoon playing skills at Glasines Cafe and Bar,was in doubt
