Much loved poppa of Keilani, Brylee, and Eden McKay, and Brody O'Neale. Your "little squirts" in this lifetime and the next. Loved son of Noeline* and Leslie* Shieffelbein (Oamaru). Loved best friend, brother and brother-in-law of Richard and Karen Shieffelbein, and loved uncle of Jason (Oamaru). Respected brother of Derek and Carolynn (Napier). Respected brother-in-law of May* McGregor, Valda* and Keith* Ryder, Ray* and Shirley* McGregor, Helen Scammell and Wes McMillan (Invercargill), Robin and Lynette McGregor (Balfour), Wallace and Win* McGregor (Winton), Ian and Eileen McGregor (Rangiora), and Coral* and Wes Greig (Gore). Deepest condolences to Linda and family. Wayne was a "one of a kind" person who was always keen to help others. He was an inspirational member of the Southland Sports Car Club and will be greatly missed at Teretonga Park, as well as by all who met him. Rest in peace Wayne.

So sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. He was a legion at the Newfield Tavern, back in the day. We, the people who loved live music, were treated to so many wonderful groups and bands all thanks to Wayne. And what great bands they all were. Thanks for the music. RIP.
