Sincere condolences from Meg Rushton. I have worked with Wayne for many years listening to his drumming. We had many a chat about the condition of the World. He had a great sense of Irish humour. Greatly missed.

Sad to have the Ole mate pass away as we had many a good time while he was part of Riverton Coastguard. He was always so helpful when i needed assistance. Thinking of you all..

Condolences to the Muntz family from Wayne, Karen, Nic and Sara Corbin.
Wayne was a great asset to the axemen in Southland Otago and Riverton. He was secretary of both organisations for many years and was still the Riverton secretary until just a few months ago. He was a master application writer; getting equipment, trailers, chopping stands, saws, vouchers, and ribbons. For Riverton he wrote sponsorship letters and managed the prize money for the Riverton and Colac Bay meetings as part of the annual Christmas circuit, as well as the many other duties of a secretary and treasurer. He was a forward thinker, taking on new ideas, getting the Riverton club incorporated and using electronic banking. We will miss Wayne for all his volunteer work but also his cheeky comments and cheerful personality. Wayne C will miss the coffee and chats had at 61 Orepuki-Riverton Highway as well as his variety of email and phone salutations; Cap, Cap Corbers, Cap Corbs or Cappy.

Condolences to the Muntz family on your sad loss. I have many good memories of time spent with Wayne at both work and play. RIP.

Very sorry to hear this. I think you were the first person to introduce me to wine in a box Wayne lol. Lots of memories over the years and some laughs at the Tannery. RIP my friend.
