Wanda Margaret McKenzie
(nee Millar):
Passed away peacefully at Queenstown Hospital on Sunday, April 4, 2021, aged 93 years. Dearly loved and cherished wife of the late Allan Copland, much loved and loving mum of Celia and Murray Gutschlag (Australia), Heather and *Peter O'Hagan (Christchurch), Roy and Shirley Copland (Gore), Wanda Kirk (Christchurch), Shirlie Pullar (Queenstown), Vicki and Steven Henderson (Queenstown), Jayne and Carl Kennedy (Queenstown), and dearly loved Grandma of her 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Loved sister of *Wayne Millar and Ron Gillies (Dunedin). A big thank you to all the staff at Mayfair Rest Home (Christchurch), Parata Rest Home (Gore), Bupa Rest Home (Frankton) and Lake District Hospital for all their care they gave mum. A service for Wanda will be held in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at 1.00pm, followed by private family interment. So sorry you've lost a Mum, Grandma,Great Grandma and friend. Wanda was such a wonderful matriarch. You will have such a store of memories. Such a personality, you can bet there was a party of old friends when she arrived!
