Passed away suddenly on December 16, 2023, aged 78 years. Loved husband of the late Margaret. Much loved father and father-in-law of Tracey and Scott Limond. Loving son of the late Evelyn Alderson and the late Donald McQuarrie. Loving brother and brother-in-law of Doug and Yvonne Alderson. Loved step-son of Simon Alderson. Loved step-brother and brother-in-law of the late Russell Alderson, the late Arnold and the late Anne Alderson, the late Colin Alderson, Evelyn and the late Russell Bulling, the late Gwen and late Ron Baker, the late Joan and the late Des Sturgess, and the late Audrey and the late Joe Van Dam.

A memorial service to celebrate Wallace's life will be held in J Fraser and Sons' Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, on Monday, March 4 at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Eastern Cemetery.
