26 Dec 1927 - 16 Aug 2016Passed away, aged 88, suddenly at Whakatane Hospital. Beloved wife of Denis Flanagan (dec. 1951) and then of Peter Gaisford (dec. this day in 2006). Loved and loving proud Mum of Grant and Alastair, also 'Mum G' of Sue, and beloved Aunty Vilma to her South Island family but Trix or Trixie to nearly everyone else, especially her dear lifelong penpal Margaret Giles of Gore. As she wished, a small private family service and cremation took place at Whakatane on 22 August 2016. Later her ashes will join Peter in the Opotiki Services Cemetery at a date to be advised. All welcome then.
