(nee Bailey):
After a long struggle, peacefully at Vickery Court, Invercargill, on Tuesday 19 December 2017. Aged 95 years young. Returned to the loving arms of her husband Gordon. Loved mum of Valerie and the late Ivan Tilson, Kaye and the late Brian Haslam, Jeannie and the late Tony Finnerty. Cherished grandmother of Amanda, Christopher, David and Bronwyn; Brent, Dale; Kelly, Colleen and Justine, and their partners. Treasured great-grandmother of Jesse, the late Corey, Joshua, Connor, Casey; Neville, Brigh, Anais, and Hamish; Shaunae, Kendra, and Oscar. Loved great-great-grandmother of Darcey, and Caden. Also a big thank you to Gail and Robyn for helping to keep Verna in her own home, and to Vickery Court for their care of Mum over the last 6 weeks. According to Verna's wishes a private ceremony will be held. Messages to 40 McMaster Street, Invercargill 9812.
