Valerie ROBINSON Obituary

(nee Hawke): Val passed away peacefully in Christchurch, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, January 9, aged 87. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim, loved daughter of the late Elvie and Punch Hawke, much loved Mum and mother-in-law to Kerry and Kath, Brenda and Charlie and Gill and Roger, loved Nanny to her 11 grandchildren and Nanny Bluff to her 13 great-grandchildren, and cherished neighbour and friend to many. Many thanks to the staff at Burwood Hospital for their wonderful care of Val. A memorial service to celebrate Val's life will be held in her home town of Bluff, at a later date. Messages to the family can be sent c/- Brenda Morrison, 85 Opawa Road, Christchurch 8023.

So sorry to hear of Vals passing. Was our neighbour for 30 plus years. Such a vibrant, funny, hardcase beautiful lady. Rest in Love Val. Wonderful memories we will always treasure dearly.
