Unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Southland Hospital, aged 86 years. Dearly loved and devoted wife of Rex for 63 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Julie and Robert. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Marie and Bob*, Dawn*, and Trevor*. Dearly loved nana of Kylie and Tony, and Jody and Mark. Much loved great-nana of Bindi, Nate, Sasha, Cohen, Kayden, Maddison, and Jaxon. A dearly loved aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Treasured friend of Nellie and fur mum to Patches. A special thank you to St John Ambulance and the team at C.C.U. at Southland Hospital. As per Valerie's wishes a private service has been held.
