Jessie LAURENSON Obituary

Formerly of Edievale. Dearly loved wife of the late Bill. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of the late Vivienne and Robert Le Heron. Passed away peacefully August 2, 2023, aged 92 years at Wimbledon Villa, Feilding. Loved eldest daughter of Andrew and Hazel Elliot (both deceased), Paerau. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Olive and Ivan (deceased) Parry, Robert (deceased) and Alma Elliot, Bruce and Mary Lou Elliot, Joan and Alastair Hamilton, Mavis (deceased) and Brian Farrent, Vera (deceased) and Val Waldron and Mary, Elsie and Russell Reid, Nancy and Bruce Leineweber. Loved Aunt and Great-Aunt of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at 1.30pm on Friday, August 11, 2023, at the Beauchamp Crematorium Chapel, 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Milson, Palmerston North. Messages to 99 Wingatui Rd, Mosgiel 9024 and Beauchamp Crematorium Chapel.

Sympathy extended to the Elliot family with the passing of your eldest Sister Margaret. I had morning tea a couple of times with her when she lived over the road from us in Milton Street, and used to see her out walking or at the Mall, then she shifted North to be with her daughter. I used to ask Olive how she was but got a shock when Olive called and said she has passed away. We send our thoughts to you all. Pam Leslie.
