Ursula Christopher Obituary

Ursula (Herlihy) Christopher, beloved wife of the late Joseph V. Christopher, passed away peacefully on February 7, at the age of 98. Ursula was the loving mother of Joseph M. Christopher and his wife Mary Ellen of Plymouth, and William L. Christopher and his wife Maura of Winchester. She was the cherished "Nana" to her grandchildren Deanna, Joey, Billy, & Kate. She was also the loving sister to the late Robert E. Herlihy and his late wife Ruth, and a dear aunt to their six boys.
Ursula grew up in Arlington, attended Saint Agnes school and Arlington High School, and went on to earn her master's degree in education from Framingham Teachers College. She dedicated many years to teaching elementary education in Medford and then in Belmont, where she resided and raised her family.
After retiring from teaching, Ursula enjoyed traveling with her husband and close friends. She cherished spending time with her family, and always had a book or crossword puzzle underway. Ursula created countless memories with her loved ones, especially during the yearly summer vacations to Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Ursula'sfuneral mass in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford Street, ARLINGTON on Wednesday at 11:30 am. Her Burial will be Private.
