Raymond Stanley (Ray):
On October 22, 2017, peacefully at Wesley Care with family by his side, aged 90 years. Former husband of Lois Newton, loved father of Peter, Robyn, and Julie, grandfather of Michael, Rachael, and Megan, and great-grandfather of Corey and Lachlan. Loved brother of the late Marie. The family acknowledge the care and support by Margaret Scott, his companion in later years. Special thanks to the staff at Fitzroy and Wesley Care for their support and care of Ray over the last 4 years. In lieu of flowers donations to Canterbury Medical Research Foundation would be appreciated and may be made at the service or via their website www.cmrf.org.nz A celebration of Ray's life will be held at St Barnabas Anglican Church, corner of Fendalton Road and Tui Street, Christchurch, on Tuesday, October 31, at 1.30pm.
