Trevor COPLAND Obituary

After courageously fighting a long illness in the care of Hospice, Trevor passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, on August 25, 2025, aged 57 years. Born May 10, 1968, from Cosydell Waimumu. Son of Errol (deceased) and Marylyn, brother and brother-in-law of Ross and Angela (Australia), Jane and Mark Bell (Invercargill), and Uncle of Tegan, Nicola, and Justin; Jack and Emily. Loved and devoted Dad to Pearl Lucie Bernard. Maylie Benard, mother of Pearl, and extended family; Laurence Leymaire, Luc Bernard and Lenny Gandrille, all of France. A friend to many, always there to listen and give advice. To Hospice Invercargill, thank you for the care Trevor received:

"Forgive people for their weaknesses and do not judge people by their mistakes, support their strengths and see the person they could be".

Trevor's ashes will be resting at his home (1130 Glendhu Road, Waimumu); and all are welcome to celebrate his life from September 18-20, 2025 with a service commencing at 12 noon on September 20.
