Simon, Back in the 1960s and early 70s you were a huge part of our family life on our farm in Takapau. The friendship you had with my late brother, Chris Thomsen, began at Wanganui Collegiate and was very special. That friendship flowed on to me and you and Chris included me in many of your high jinx´s - rabbit shooting out the window of the land rover, deer stalking, car rallying and later, the odd flight in your little aeroplane.
My mother co-opted you into partnering me to my first Ball. I still vividly remember it - you were so handsome and so much fun.

Simon was a caring person who went out of his way to help people whenever they needed help - and he did this with pleasure and joyful friendship. And believe me, he never let them down. He was one a million.

So sorry to hear that our lovely cousin Simon, has taken his final flight. Even though we didn't get together very often we have many happy memories. Thinking of you at this sad time,
