My fondest memories of Tom are the expectation that his subordinates (at NZAS) could grow to achieve his extremely high level of honesty and integrity. His ability to mentor me to improve respect for fellow employees has had a lasting impact on my life. Control spoken with his wonderful ascent resonated in my head when I went through different roles after transferring to Australia. We called in on Tom and Nancy in 1990 when visiting family and often regretted not having kept in touch. I now learn that we were in NZ at the time of his death but weren't aware of it.
Thanks for the memories TOM.
To Tom and Nancy's family, you have been very fortunate to grow up In an environment of such high standards.
To Bob, Tom must have been very proud of your achievements, a long way from holiday jobs with the testers.
