Deepest condolences on the passing of Johnny.
He was a family friend and I remember him calling in home on a Tuesday night after badminton practice for a cup of tea and a yarn.
Johnny used to enjoy the stock cars or any car racing that was on locally and would pick me up in his orange Datsun that he had at the time and we would enjoy a days racing together,he also used to enjoy movies and he would take me along and we would have a good laugh together, this was when invercargill had the three picture theaters and we would forget which theater was showing the movie we wanted to see but we usually guess right,I was still in school at this time so our choice of movies was limited...
These are memories I have with Johnny and I hope they bring comfort and a smile to family and friends at this time...
