Dear D'Lice and Paul,
We were very sorry to learn of Tom's recent death He is fondly remembered as a real Te Anau character, especially when he was flying those fantastic kites Shirley used to make. He was an entertaining gentleman and he will be sadly missed. Much love to you both at this sad time. Jan and Jeff Ludemann

I have recently been studing genology which brought back a lot of fond memories when I was researching my mothers side (Marion White) and the Mornington home where Thomas and Shirley lived with their family. Sad news but he had a good inings like mum.

Sad to hear this news.
Have exceptionally fond memories of Tom during the construction of the top hut on Lake Hauroko.
It was the tidiest construction site I have ever worked on thanks to his diligence.
