I had many wonderful golfing rounds, and great conversations at the 19th with Tom. Always fun to be with and who will ever forget him as one of the Green Acres ballet troupe. Sadly missed and thoughts to you all.

Such a gentleman. Condolences to Wayne, Russell and Pam and families. Tom and Daph were a beautiful but simple couple who were just happy with their lot. A great friend who was always happy to see you.

So sad that Tommy has passed and my condolences to the family. I have such fond memories of both him and Daphne from a very young age when our families visited. Always lots of funny stories from their younger years and things they got up to together - lots of laughing. They were such close friends to our mum and dad (Dawn and David). I feel that the four of them are all together again sitting around a table giving each other stick, just like the old days!

I'm saddened to hear of Tommy's passing. Was so great to catch up with him 2 yrs ago at mum's funeral. Loved hearing about all the mischief he got up to with dad at high school and other stories. No doubt they'll all be up there now causing more mischief. Sending my love to Wayne, Russell and Pamela xxx

Tom was one of the finest men that I know. He was instrumental in my development as a boy and teenager, and along with Daphne, Wayne, Russell, and Pamela formed an unbreakable bond that has meant so much to me as we move forward in our lives. Those early years are so formative and the older I have got, the more important they have become. I have not lived in the south since my teens, but the memories are like yesterday. I loved Tom.

I am unfortunately and sadly unable to make it to Invercargill to show my respect to Tom and the family. My thoughts and sympathies are with you all.
