Passed peacefully with family at Peacehaven, Invercargill on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Adored husband of 59 years of Jean*. Beloved father and father-in-law of David and Tracy*, Carolyn and Derek, Thomas and Alamein, and Jenny and Greg. Special and adored grandfather of Christopher, Kayla, and Brodie, Loren, and Robyn, Jana, Alicia, Josh and Rachael, Anton, Grayson, Charlotte, and Harrison. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Alistair*, Jim and Brenda, Eleanor and Owen, and Bill and Margaret, Heather* and Basil*, Fraser and Lesley, Leita and Ross*. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Iona Home, Peacehaven for their kindness and care of Ian and for the care and compassion shown to the family. A private cremation has been held.
