Terry ASHBY Obituary
On January 7, 2019, peacefully at home surrounded by loving family, after a battle well fought; in his 56th year. Dearly loved husband of Nicky, devoted father and father-in-law of Jaime and Jonnie Rose, Mitchell and Ellen, Devon and Katelin, and a loved G Dad and best mate of Taylor. Loved son of the late Alvin and Norma, loved brother and brother-in-law of Cheryl and Ka Mamanu, Darren and Margo, Ross and Emma. Loved son-in-law of Margaret and the late Justin Walsh, loved brother-in-law of Margaret and Neil McDiarmid, Pauline and the late Paul Herron, John and Rai, Jimi and Karen, Maurice and Linda, Brian and Kerry, and a loved uncle. Special thanks to the amazing Malvern District Nurses, all the staff of ICU, Wards 16 and 26 Christchurch Hospital for their care and attention over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Malvern District Nurses would be appreciated and may be made at the service. Messages to the Ashby family, c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A Funeral Service will be held in the Darfield Recreation and Community Centre and Domain, North Terrace, Darfield, on Saturday, January 12, at 10.00am.
