After a long battle bravely fought, on Thursday 4 December 2014; aged 73 years. Loving husband for 51 years of Elaine Margaret. Son of the late Syd and May Little. Loving and proud father of Megan and Rex Carter (Mossburn), Ruth and Brent Shepherd, Matthew and AJ Little (Karratha, Western Australia), and the late Paul. Super proud grandfather of Ryan and Drew Carter, Morgan, Brooke and Liam Shepherd, and Isabella and Mataya Little. Loved brother and brother-in-law of David and Annette Little. Loved son-in-law of the late Chrissie and Bill Brinsdon, brother-in-law of the late Grace and Bill Duncan. A much respected uncle of his nieces and nephews. A service for George will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Monday 8 December at 11.00, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 37 Wallace Street, Invercargill.
