Stanley Thomas (Stan):
Unexpectedly, at his home, Mataura, on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, joyfully 95 years old. Loving husband for 72 years to Mary, father and father-in-law of Lynda (Motueka), Judy and Merv Clayton (Tapanui), much loved Grandpa of Rachel and Grant, Anthony and Marcella, and great-Grandpa to Emma and Olivia; Hayden and Ilonka; Jesse and Zoe, and Jack. Much loved brother to Dave (Australia), and Dorothy Compton (Gore), and a fun uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
"He will be much missed."
According to Stan's wishes his farewell graveside service will be held at Mataura Cemetery on Wednesday, February 8, at 1.30pm, or alternatively if it is wet the service will be held at Mataura Presbyterian Church, followed by a cuppa in the Church Hall, Messages to 45 Main Street, Mataura 9712.
