So many years have past since I last saw Shona. We were best mates at SGHS and Southland Business College. We even managed to crash Eleanor's green Austin 1100 one day after a school cert exam excluding us both from the next exam! but we had so much fun. Then marriage and babies took us on different paths and we only met on a few occasions. Incredibly sad to know we wont meet again. Sending heartfelt condolences to all Shona's family. Remembering her with great fondness. Yvonne McNeil (Dawson)

Over the years, people lose touch, and that is the case with many of us cousins, which is very sad because all of a sudden it is too late. Like cousin Jenny, I also remember the beautiful blonde curls when Shona was young and the happy smiles. Shona, reunite with Mum, Dad, and Peter again and relive happy memories. Condolences to the families. You will be missed by many. Dawn (nee King) and Brian Skinner.

So sad to read of Shona's death. I have many very happy memories of Shona when her Mum Eleanor, was my Tupperware manager. Shona always had a smile on her face and ready to make people around her, laugh. Even when she had a fire at her house, she could still smile and joke, as she opened a cupboard up and the toast bread was untouched but everything around it had been burnt or scorched. Even then, she said "It could have been worse". Rest in Peace Shona and give your Mum a big hug from me. Much aroha to Brent and Shona's extended whanau

So sad to read this. Although we have not been in touch for years I did go to SGHS with Shona and then Southland Business College. Spent a summer holiday in Qtown with Shona and her Mum when we were 16 - great memories and lots of laughs. Shona always had a great sense of humour. Deepest sympathies to Shona's family, may she rest in peace xx

Though we have not spent much time together in latter years, I remember with much fondness my beautiful curly blond little cousin, much loved by her big brothers and parents. Our very deepest sympathy to you all.
