Shirley MALEY Obituary

The family would like it known that their beloved matriarch passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023, in her 97th year. Loved wife and best friend of the late Eric. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Sharon and Pat Burke (Queenstown), Trevor and Roseanne, Val and Lindsay Walker (Clyde), Claire and Rua, and Hunter* (Manapouri), and Brenda Maley-Vear. Much loved Nana of Tracee, Rachael, Jane, Sarah, Emma, Matthew, Bee, Morgan, Cam, Phoebe, Courtney, and their partners, her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A loved sister, aunty, and friend. ?A listening ear to all, Loved and treasured by many.? A service to celebrate Shirley?s life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, on Tuesday, September 5, at 1.00pm. A private interment to follow. Messages to 42 Stirling Street, Windsor, Invercargill 9810. (*denotes deceased)
