Sherryl BAKER Obituary

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by so much love, with her family by her side on March 9, 2026, at the age of 69. Mum will be remembered for her fun-loving, colourful, kind nature. Her wicked sense of humor. Her fierce competitive streak when playing banana grams, even the grandkids didn't stand a chance. Her cold cups of tea were scattered around the house, and enough macaroni cheese to feed a small army, her warm hugs and kisses on the lips (even when you weren't family). Our mum, Nana, daughter, sister, wife, aunty, niece, and friend was an amazing, bright light in all our lives. Mum, we will always miss you. Survived by her husband Kevin, Peter, father of Caroll *, Trudie, Zoe, Elly, Alex, and Jesse, and 9 grandchildren. Mother Zoe, Father David*, and brothers David, Paul, and Ian*. A service to celebrate Sherryl's life will be held in the Invercargill Christian Center, Leet Street, Invercargill, on Monday, March 16, 2025 at 2.00pm. Please wear something bright in Mum's memory.
