Sarah JAMES Obituary

Peacefully at home, after a courageous battle, on February 10, 2026, aged 60 years. Dearly loved wife of Pete, loved mother of Abbey, Harry, Tim and Bella. Cherished daughter of Lorraine and *Kevin Copeland, beloved sister of Richard and Janet and their families and the extended Copeland and James families. A service to celebrate Sarah's life will be held at The Lake Hayes Pavilion, 719 Lake Hayes-Arrow Junction Highway, on Friday, February 13 at 11.00am, followed by a light luncheon and drinks at the Arrowtown Community Centre / Rugby Club, 12 Centennial Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Queenstown. Special thanks to our friends and the Queenstown hospice team, for all their amazing support. I had just found out about Sarah´s passing and I am so sadly devastated to read about the loss of such a beautiful mum wife daughter and friend xx Sarah was special in every true sense of the word - always smiling happy stopped to say hello genuinely interested in you and your family xx giving all of herself to Pete Abby Harry Tim Bella with love and support and always a smile she was very warm and special and it makes me sad our paths will never cross again RIP beautiful

To Lorraine Richard and Janet, Deepest sympathy to you all and Peter and family in the passing of Sarah, it was lovely to have caught up with Sarah when we returned to Arrowtown to live, she will be sadly missed by you all are thoughts are with you all at this sad time but no more suffering for her.
