Passed peacefully at Hospice Southland with family on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. Dearly loved Wife, Sister, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. A private cremation has been held. A memorial service for Ruth will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Tuesday, May 16, at 1.00pm. Messages to 152B King Street, Windsor, Invercargill 9810.

My deepest sympathy to family and friends. We have lost a loving member of our clan. I can't remember my Auntie Ruth ever saying a cross word to me ever even in the last year or so when I tried to play bridge with her. I hope wherever her spirit is residing now it will be a shining light as it was in the life she now departed from. I'm sure the fond memories that family and friends have of Ruth Mary Holden will in time out way the grief we are now experiencing.
