My condolences to you and all the family, Kaye. Russell was a valued member of Menzshed Invercargill, and a "good bloke", whose company I enjoyed. I'm sorry that I can't attend Russell's funeral, being at the other end of the country just now.

Kaye so sorry to hear of Russell's passing, I worked with Russell for many many years at Blue Star and always found him over the years to be so obliging and helpful and he just done his job without any questions.

Hey Kaye
Im jst sitting here and I thought I would just check the "notices" in the Southland Times. I was shocked to see Russell's name there and just had to write and say how sorry I really am to hear this news. I was driving down Layard street about 2 months ago and went past your house and almost stopped to see if you still lived there. I'm sorry I didn't. I have very fond memories of Russell at Hargest and he was one of the many good guys. You are both in my memory bank from those times and you both bring back many happy memories.
