It is with heartfelt sadness that Royd's family announce his passing on Monday, April 21, 2025. Loved and loving husband of Pam, much loved Dad, Royd and Poppa of Jayne, Gavin, Kimberley, Rob, Bella, Lexie, Ashley, Katrina, Madison, Katelyn, Kierran, Kandice, Ruby-Jane and Violet; Ricky and Dakota. Loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. As to Royd's wishes, a private service will be held. E te rakatira. Kua karaka atu Te Atua ki a koe, Kua mutu to mahi i tenei ao. Me haere koe ko o tipuna e tatari ama mou, moe mai okioki. Royd, it was a joy to have known you in the days when we worked together at Melhops. You have answered God's call, finished your mahi and joined all the ancestors that are waiting to greet you. Farewell and rest in love.
