THOMAS, Roy:
Anne, Amanda, Stuart, and families, wish to express their sincere thanks for the support, love and sympathy received from so many people following the sad loss of Roy, a dearly loved husband and soulmate, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A special thank you to our celebrant Judith Stewart. Judith's chosen words personalised Roy's service and expressed exactly what our hearts felt. Anne appreciated all the time, support, encouragement and friendship received from Judith over the months before, and since, Roy passed away. Thank you to David Beck for providing us with a special recording of Roy's service. It is a keepsake of the day we remembered Roy for the life he lived and for the endless love he gave us. To Nigel and his team at Avenal Park, we extend grateful thanks for the compassion, care and respect shown to Roy and the family. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Iona Wing, Peacehaven, for your dedicated and loving care of Roy - you truly are exceptional people. A special thank you to Julie Worner, the Clinical Manager, for all the support shown to Anne. This helped Anne manage the many difficult days, and she will always remember this with deep affection and appreciation. Grateful thanks to friends and family who travelled from a distance to attend Roy's service, and to the many who viewed online. To those of you who visited Roy at home, and continued to visit him in Peacehaven, thank you. As we are unable to personally thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as our sincere appreciation and heartfelt gratitude.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Roy's passing and I cannot send a bigger sense of love and condolences to his family and his beloved wife Anne.
I still think of you both so often as such an incredible and dedicated couple. I hope that if my husband or myself ever need the support from each other that you Anne, gave to Roy through the years, that we will be able to meet that by even half of what you have given your dear husband.
You were a wonderful, kind man in the time I knew you Roy. Rest in peace Mr Thomas
