Ross SMITH Obituary

Peacefully, passed away at Clare House surrounded by his family, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, aged 77 years. Loved husband of Denise. Loved father and father-in-law of Nathan and Sandy, Vicky and Mark. Loved Poppa of Shaun, and Zoe; Thomas, Finlay, Madeline, and Stella. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Peter and Mary-Anne Smith, Karen and Doug* Sinclair, Jen* and Max Ffitch, Liz and Tom* Hartman, Ted and Bev Boult. A service to celebrate Ross' life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Thursday, January 8, at 1.30pm. The service will conclude with the Interment at the Eastern Cemetery. Messages to [email protected]

To Denise and family. I´m real sorry to see the passing of Ross . Great memories of Ross on and off the job when I was training with him at Wrightson Tuatapere, he was given the difficult task of knocking the rough edges off me as a trainee to become a stock agent , this is something I will never forget. My condolences and RIP Ross .
