Ronald William (Ron):
of Bluff. Ron sadly passed away suddenly on February 17, 2021 aged 89, surrounded with love, and in the care of his adoring family. Loved eldest son of the late Bill and Ina Gilson. Adored soulmate and loving husband of 66 years of the late Kathleen Joy Gilson (Joy) and most loved and cherished father and father-in-law of Vicky Young and Cindy and Peter Marshall. Devoted, proud and loved Gig of Kylie Young, Karyna Young and Ben Rowe (Raglan) and Clay and Marina Young (Melbourne, Australia). Very proud Gig of his 5 great-grandchildren, Monty, Oscar and Tommy Rowe and Oliver and Charlotte (Ina) Young. As per Ron's wishes, a private family farewell has been held. Passed peacefully on February 17, 2021. Loved eldest son of the late William (Bill) and Ina Gilson of Bluff. Respected brother of Brian Gilson*, Elsa Bragg*, and adored big brother of Jennifer McClutchie (Perth). Loved uncle of all his nephews and nieces .
