Met Roger in 2005 when six of us, including Roger, brought a young harness horse called Mister Barnett. He won first up as a two year old at Winton and then ran 4th in the Kindergarten stakes at Wyndham. As a three year old, he qualified for the Sires Stakes final which was held on Cup day at Addington 2006 where he ran 6th. A big thrill for all concerned. The horse won seven races for us and we celebrated every one as if it would be his last!
He was sold to America in 2009 after which we had a couple more horses including The Wonkey Donkey who won first up at Gore but developed heart problems and was eventually retired. Roger enjoyed his association with the horses and fellow owners and sad to see that he has passed away. R.I.P. - Roger
