Rodney JENKINSON Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home on Stewart Island, surrounded by his family, aged 42 years. Dearly loved son of Jill (Skerrett) and John (Jenkinson). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Tyron and Emma, Sam and Charlotte. Treasured uncle of Ellie and Indi, Esjay and Jethro. A service to celebrate Rod's life will be held at the Stewart Island Community Hall on Wednesday, June 18, at 11.00am. All are warmly invited to attend.

Passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2025, aged 42. Dearly loved son of John Jenkinson and Jill Skerrett. Cherished older brother of Ty and Sam, and brother-in-law of Emma and Charlotte. Treasured uncle of Ellie and Indi, Esjay and Jethro. Loved stepson of Brigid, and stepbrother of Sophie and Amelia. Much loved nephew of Tony, Chris and Lih Lan, Mike, Liz, and Colin Sharp. A loved cousin to many. Rod was an adventurous soul who loved to travel and explore the world. Special thanks to all Whānau, friends, and support staff who offered care and support throughout Rod's life. A celebration of Rod's life will be held at the Stewart Island Community Centre at 11.00am on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. All are warmly welcome.
