Robin PEARS Obituary

Robin sadly passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Southland Hospital; 3 days short of his 92nd birthday. Dearly loved husband for 62 years of Alison, and much loved father and father-in-law of Liz and David Thomas, Rosie, Susan and Brian Powell, and Philippa. Much loved grandfather of Peter, Sarah, Emily, Renee, Ruby, and the late Holly, great-grandfather of Spencer and Meredith, and a loved uncle. A service to celebrate Rob's life will be held on Monday, January 26 at 11.30am in J Fraser & Sons' Chapel, cnr Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, followed by an interment at Mossburn Cemetery. Approximate arrival time 3.15pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to St John Ambulance kindly accepted and may be left at the service.
