Robert SWINNEY Obituary
Passed peacefully on Friday, March 1; in his 97th year. A beloved husband of the late Mavis, dearly loved dad of Ken and Carol Swinney, Sandra and Peter Bunce, Heather Gray and Bruce McRae, Robyn and Richard Conroy. Treasured Grandad of Sian, Leith; Shelley; Kerry, Rachelle, Melissa; Sarah, Jessica, and Jamie, much loved and very cheeky great grandad to all of his great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the team at Cargill Rest Home for their loving care of Dad and also to Clare House who nursed Dad in his final weeks. A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Thursday, March 7, at 1.00pm. A private interment will follow.
