Passed away peacefully at Kew Hospital, Invercargill, on May 26, 2023, surrounded by family. Dearly loved husband of Alice Moore, Roxburgh, for 65 years. Loved Dad of Wayne Moore and Lianne Toomey (Takaka), Sandra and Dale Paikea (Heriot), Leonie Moore*, Nelleta Moore and Karl Anderson (Blenheim), Colin Moore, Yvonne Hoskins and Stephen Dodds, Heather and Neil Rae (all of Boddington WA), Paul Moore*, Stuart Moore and Esther Mitchell (Mosgiel). Loved and cherished grandad Blakie of all his grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren.

A Service for Blakie will be held in the Roxburgh Racecourse, Roxburgh East Road, Roxburgh, at 1.00pm on Thursday, June 1, 2023, followed by Blakie's last ride by horse and cart to the Roxburgh Cemetery at 3.00pm. Everybody is welcome, come as you are. Feel free to bring your horse. Messages to 250 Roxburgh East Road, RD1, Roxburgh 9571.
