On Monday, November 17, 2025, in Christchurch, four days short of his 93rd birthday. Loved son of the late Charlie and Myra Tripp, of Nithdale Station. Much loved husband of Sally Tripp for 63 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Tim and Alli, David and Helen, Andrew and Heather. Loved Papa to Laura, Esther, Matt, Sam, Rebekah and Levi, Danielle, Alisha and Josh. A service to celebrate Dick's life will be held at Beckenham Methodist Church, 83 Malcolm Ave, Beckenham, Christchurch, on November 29, 2025, at 10.00am, followed by burial at St Cuthbert's Anglican Church, 8 Governors Bay Teddington Road, Governors Bay.
